Patrick,
I rarely go on to this site.
Certainly I can send a few photos of some previous drive arrangements I made for other vehicles. They are all very similar in that they use the same type of gears. I made the drives because I could not find anything suitable commercially available.
The drivesare mostly hidden inside the vehicles but I can show the undersides with some comments on how I did them.
My SL&NCR railcar is in the latest NIL issue although the photos there did not reproduce well.
I am currently building a J15 (SSM) which will have one of my own 'drives' rather than a commercial gearbox. The J15 will have its axles fully equalised.

Patrick,
I'm afraid that I don't have any pictures of the sub assemblies but I'm sure that Jim Edgar might be able to oblige. I made the gearbox myself as I couldn't find anything suitable and I had a previous bad experience with a Tenshodo 'Spud' unit which I overloaded and overheated. I have just finished a sort of model of SL&NCR railcar 'B'. and have done a write up on that for NIL. I made a similar sort of drive for that. I could send a picture.

Jeremy you did a nice job of the loco, well done, thanks for the inspiration, it is appreciated.

Any chance of photographs that show all the sub-assemblies in their own right
